Media Support for Dame Penny Mordaunt GMB debut
On Thursday 4 June, StormGlide provided digital media support for Dame Penny Mordaunt's debut appearance on Good Morning Britain, delivering real time content production throughout the live broadcast.
Working alongside the programme schedule, key ITV segments were clipped as they aired and rapidly transformed into platform ready assets. Each clip was professionally edited, branded and subtitled, enabling content to be published efficiently across social media channels while maintaining consistency in presentation and messaging.
A key objective was to ensure alignment between the issues discussed on air and the wider digital communications strategy. By identifying relevant moments from the broadcast and preparing them for distribution, the content could be matched to social media posts covering the same topics, extending the lifespan and reach of key messages beyond the television audience.
As the relationship between broadcast media and digital communications continues to evolve, timely content production plays an increasingly important role in ensuring that television appearances remain accessible, shareable and relevant across multiple platforms. This project demonstrated the value of combining live monitoring, rapid editing workflows and strategic content planning to support effective audience engagement.
