East Wight MP, Joe Robertson - Isle of Wight East and Shadow Secretary of State for DEFRA Victoria Atkins. They spent a day at sea with local fishermen, Ed and Jeff Blake, from the Ventnor fishery, to hear and see the challenges and opportunities that the fishing industry faces.

This was followed by a meeting with famers in Brading to hear about their concerns, ideas and aspirations. Food security, high-costs due to inflation and a weakened economy under the current Labour government as well as red tape and the disastrous tax on family farms were top of the list of topics covered and discussed at the round table event.
